Nicolò Baraggioli
lives and works in London and Genoa

Artist statement Nicolò Baraggioli:
"My work expands outward from a central point of minimalism, into a world of texture, color, and material. I am interested in investigating the concept of space, boundary and the aesthetics. My works are representations of that exploration. Focusing mainly on painting, producing minimal abstract works using a combination of materials and a variety of different types of paint creating separate dialogues about simplicity and rigorousness, these works often reference found compositions as well as interests outside of art, such as philosophy, Greek mythology, movies, classical music and nature. Within the work there is an attempt to find the perfect balance, to embrace the idea of beauty and abstraction in their most intrinsic connotations."
